I wanted you to hear it from me before you showed up and found a dark window.

We closed the storefront this afternoon. Not permanently. For the the next month or so, while we fix what hasn’t been working.

Honest answer? The take out counter has been inconsistent for a while now. The hours drifted. The menu lost its way. We were pouring everything into our catering operations, and the storefront, the thing that started all of this back in 2015, kept getting the leftovers. That’s not fair to the neighborhood, and it’s not who we are.

So instead of just quietly reopening with a new coat of paint and hoping nobody notices, I’d rather just say it: we let the counter drift, and we’re fixing it.

We are doing the work for the next month. Fresh paint, new layout, a menu that actually makes sense, and when we reopen a dedicated team whose only job is showing up for the storefront every single day. Not borrowed time from the catering team. Its own people.

We open back up early June. Tuesday through Sunday. Every week.
